As a young lad, I've always loved to use my artistic abilities to strive and stand out as an individual, something I enjoyed. Learning new skills and techniques was the driving force to my everlasting passion for the arts which I desire in my daily life. Although, many students my age may struggle to determine what occupation to acquire after college, I've had two apparent occupations that I believe suit myself quite well such as a job in the art field, animator and fine artist or a lawyer- an occupation I've wanted to obtain since pre-school and an occupation I've wanted to obtain since 4th grade. A decision I will eventually have to make in order to be a successful and useful human being in our society. In spite of the fact that I attended an art magnet school for elementary and middle school, becoming a Lawyer may sound like a stretch, but my interest for debating has stayed strong through-out the years.
Other than debating and drawing, inking or utilizing oil pastels, I enjoy watching anime and reading manga. To those who are not aware of this fine art, manga is a Japanese version of comics and anime is a Japanese version of cartoons- to state simply. Studio Ghibli, specifically Hayao Miyazaki, has inspired me to become an animator and to keep drawing- to proceed to sketch in my sketch book and keep track of my art portfolio. If I were to become an animator, it would be either for Disney, Pixar or Studio Ghibli. Which leads me to the point that i would like to attend UCLA, CAL Arts or Ringling to obtain a Masters in fine arts or computer animation. As of now, I attend an IB school in Florida and plan on graduating with an IB diploma.
Lately, I've been researching animation and art software while slowly emerging into the art world as a young fine artist. Recently, I sold my first painting at an art gallery at Barnes and noble to celebrate and remember the inspirational women, Maya Angelou who unfortunately passed away. I plan on becoming more diverse as an artist, and to widen my abilities and medias.
